The Pollak Library has over 400 computers located throughout the library that are available for students, faculty, staff and community use. Users must login to the computers using their portal login and password. Guest logins are available for community members. Visitors begin the guest registration process at the designated guest registration computers on the first floor of Library North.
The majority of the computers in the library are located on the first floor of Library North. The 1st floor of Library North, part of Student Technology Services (STS), is a staffed computer area with over 230 workstations. The Student Genius Corner (SGC), located on the first floor, offers a wide range of services including technical assistance and support services. The 2nd floor of Library North has 40 workstations. The 4th floor of Library North has 175 workstations.
During peak times in the semester these areas can become impacted. You can check computer availability ahead of time to find where the open computers are located. There are also other work stations on the second and fourth floors of Library North.
Student laptops and iPads can be checked out at the Student Genius Corner on the 1st floor of Library North. The laptops and iPads must be returned 30 minutes before our service desk closes. Laptops and iPads may be taken outside of the Library. This service is only available to current students. You must present your TitanCard or photo ID upon checkout.
