Media Stations
The Media Commons
The media commons is adjacent to the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Library South. It provides convinient access to the audio-visual reserves selected by CSUF Faculty. It has 27 multimedia stations that support a variety of formats including DVD, Blu-ray, VHS, and laserdisc. Headphones are required in the main media commons room. Headphones can be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
The Media Commons also has a private screening room called the Little Theater. The room can accommodate 6 people and has a large screen HD television, a Blue Ray DVD player, and a premium sound system. Listening and Viewing Rooms
There are 20 listening and viewing rooms available on the 4th floor, Library North. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and can accommodate from one to 15 individuals.
Rooms are equipped with electronic equipment including:
- Televisions
- VCRs, DVD and CD players
- Audiocassette recorders and turntables.
Rooms are available to current members of the CSUF community, and a current CSUF Titan Card is required to check out listening and viewing keys.
