Current and Upcoming Events
A Book Discussion Group, informal and wide- ranging, discusses current and classic works chosen by the participants. It meets the third Thursday of each month from September through May at 3 pm, usually in the Pollak Library Conference Room, Library South 260C. For information, contact Herb Rutemiller, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The ongoing book sale of the Patrons and Emeriti is located in Pollak Library South 199, across from the circulation desk. About 5,000 used books on all subjects, periodicals, and recordings are sold at very low prices. (For details see Book Sale Center section.)
The Patrons are partnering with Pollak Library to bring the maps in the Roy V. Boswell Collection for the History of Cartography online. This ongoing effort will allow people to access this rare resource in a new and exciting way from anywhere in the world via the web. For a preview of this effort visit Digitized Maps from the Library's Boswell Collection.
