Q: Are team projects eligible?
A:
Yes, team projects are
eligible. Please be sure to submit just one copy of your project with the
cover sheet for team projects. If a team project wins, the
prize money will be split evenly among the team members.
Q: Who are the judges for the prize?
A:
A panel of seven judges
will determine the prize winners. The 2008 Judges have not yet been
determined. The seven judges from the 2006 prize included:

Q: My paper/project was completed for a course that took
place before Summer 2007. Can I still apply for the prize?
A: We can only accept papers/projects completed during the Summer 2007,
Fall 2007, or Spring 2008 semesters.
Q: I am not a CSUF student, but I completed a class
through CSUF toward a degree at my permanent university. Can I still
submit my paper/project for the prize?
A:
Only submissions from
CSUF students will be accepted.
Q: Are only research papers eligible?
A:
No, the Committee will
accept projects in other formats, such as online and digital formats. The
main focus of the prize is on your use of library resources and your
research process, so formats can vary.
Q: Are drafts of papers/projects accepted?
A:
No, only final work is
eligible for the prize.
Q: I have my Bachelor's degree but am taking
undergraduate courses at CSUF. Am I eligible to enter the contest?
A:
No. You are considered
to have "Post-baccalaureate" status if you have received a previous
Bachelor's degree.
Q: There are two professors from two different
departments who were involved in the process of writing my paper? From
which professor should I get the Faculty Support Form signed?
A:
Getting a signature from either professor is acceptable.
