Loan Rules

Undergraduate and graduate students

• Number of check-outs: 150
• Check-out period: 10 weeks
• 1 renewal permitted (1 additional 10-week loan period)

Tenured and tenure-track faculty

• Number of check-outs: 150
• Check-out period: There is one due date - June 15 - per year for all materials.*
• All materials must be physically brought to the Library for return or renewal on, or before, the due date.

Non-tenured faculty
(Temporary, Contract, and Part-time Faculty)

• Number of check-outs: 150
• Check-out period: Two due dates per year for all material: January 15 and June 15*
• All materials must be physically brought to the Library for return or renewal on, or before, the due date.

Graduate assistants and teaching assistants

• Number of check-outs: 150
• Check-out period: Two due dates per year for all materials: January 15 and June 15.*
• All materials must be physically brought to the Library for return or renewal on, or before, the due date.

University staff

• Number of check-outs: 150
• Check-out period: There is one due date - June 15 - per year for all materials.*

Visiting researchers

* Every borrower is guaranteed a minimum of 10 days' use of a book. After 10 days, the Library will,
upon request, hold or recall a book from you so that another patron may use it, or so that it may be
placed on reserve for a course.
