University Archives & Special Collections Section
Some materials are fully cataloged and listed on the CSUF OPAC (on-line public access catalog). Other materials are listed in the University Archives and Special Collections Section's traditional card catalog or listed in either descriptive inventories, computer print-outs, or other printed aids which allow access to the various collections.

All archives and special collections materials must be used in the Special Collections' reading room. A photocopier is available for photocopying and an informed staff is available during the hours of operation to answer questions and assist with research needs.

Created in 1967, the University Archives and Special Collections Section provides the special service, care, and protection required to utilize and preserve unique and valuable library materials. There are eighty-eight different collections in the section and a complete list of these collections is available upon request. Many of our Special Collections have been made available through the generosity of the Patrons of the Library.
